ATTACK OF THE HEDZ – the Brigade vs the Squadron Kickstarter Campaign
Action HEDZ will Launch AOTH on Kickstarter soon — A Madcap Game Where Backers Become the Stars
April 30, 2026 — Action HEDZ, the new indie game developer is here with a wildly creative new project: Attack of the HEDZ. Launching on Kickstarter in 2026, the game offers more than just quirky gameplay—it gives backers the chance to become in-game characters themselves.
Blending absurdist humor, offbeat design, and community-driven creativity, AOTH is a fast-paced game set in a colorful world where sentient HEDZ battle for flavor supremacy against an invading force. But here’s the twist: anyone who backs the game at certain tiers gets turned into a unique character—complete with their face and name woven into the game’s lore.
The Premise: Battle for the Biscuitverse
In ATTACK, players dive into a chaotic universe where pastries have personalities and batter can be lethal. Each “BiscuitHED” is a stylized, biscuit-headed avatar. The game combines elements of arena combat, platforming, and RPG mechanics to create an experience that’s both ridiculous and refreshingly original.
And if you don’t want to be transformed into a BiscuitHED you can appear as a character in game as a member of the Squadron, the invading force attempting to decimate the BiscuitHEDZ and take over their planet. You can choose the gear you wear and wage war like never before.
“Our team wanted to make a game that’s fun, funny, and fully community-driven,” said Lane Weston, the Lone Developer at HEDZ Studioz. “I thought—what if the community wasn’t just supporting the game, but actually inside it? That’s where BiscuitHEDZ was born.”

Backers Become CHARACTERS
Through the Kickstarter campaign, backers who pledge at featured tiers can submit photos and character names, which HEDZ Studioz art will transform into their very own in-game “BiscuitHED” or as a member of The Squadron. Some backer characters will have customized powers, dialogue, and animations that reflect their personality or backstory.
Additional backer perks include early access, behind-the-scenes content, exclusive merchandise, and the chance to name items, levels, or even create mini-bosses.
A Game Made With and For Fans
Unlike most indie campaigns, ATTACK of the HEDZ is being built in collaboration with its community from the start. The development roadmap includes regular live streams, open design sessions, and Discord-based polls where fans can vote on mechanics, character traits, and world-building details.
“AOTH – The Brigade vs. The Squadron is chaotic, creative, and full of personality—just like our backers,” Lane added. “This is a game where the community doesn’t just play it. They shape it.”

Aiming for Full Release in 2027
The Kickstarter campaign will go live by October 2026, with a funding goal of $47,500, and stretch goals to support expanded content, voice acting, music making, and more. The game is planned for Steam with potential stretch goals for online 50 vs 1 – HEDZ vs. HERO mode, mobile and Nintendo Switch, PlayStation/Xbox releases.
Backers who join early will also be featured in a special “Founding Batch” tribute scene—immortalizing the campaign’s original supporters as legendary biscuit warriors.
